Equal Employment Opportunity Plan
EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY PLAN FOR BONNEVILLE COUNTY POLICY STATEMENT:
It is the policy of Bonneville County to assure equal employment opportunity to its employees and applicants for employment on the basis of qualifications without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, disability, sex, or age. Bonneville County will follow this policy in recruitment, hiring, training, advancement, classification, compensation, transfers, work assignments, disciplinary actions, and application of employee benefit including social and recreational programs, and use of county facilities. It is not the intent of this policy to permit or require the lowering of bona fide job requirements or qualification standards to give preference to any employee or applicant for employment. However, the county will take affirmative measures in accordance with prevailing Federal and state law to actively recruit qualified military veterans, minorities, females, and persons with disabilities to positions at all levels of county government.
The County Human Resource Manager shall be designated as the contact for any complaints, comments or suggestions regarding the administration of the EEO plan or equal employment opportunity issues for Bonneville County. Any employee of Bonneville County who fails to comply with this policy is subject to appropriate disciplinary action.
