ROAD CLOSURES

Deep Creek Road (Jackknife area) - washout

ROAD CONSTRUCTION

Phase 1 of the Lincoln Road Project should be substantially completed by the end of 2018 with a seal coat to be installed during the summer of 2019.

Palisades Creek Road (Swan Valley) - widen and oil the second mile to the Forest Service parking lot. Completion scheduled for summer 2019.

Snake River Road/Bear Creek Road (Swan Valley) - widen and pave approximately 5.7 miles to the Calamity Campground and boat launch. Construction during the summer of 2019.

ROAD MAINTENANCE

There is an ongoing upgrade project for gravel county roads west of Idaho Falls. During the winter of 2018/2019, road base material will be placed on 12 miles of roads including 145th North, 129th North, 113th North, 55th West and 125th West. Approximately 300,000 tons of maintenance material will be placed on west side gravel roads during the next 5 to 7 years.

FUTURE ROAD PROJECTS

Lincoln Road: final plans for Phase 2 of the Lincoln Road Project from Ammon Road to 45th East are being completed with a proposed construction date of summer 2020.

Design work has begun on the intersection of 45th East and 1st Street with a proposed construction date of summer 2020.
